Groom arrives Bond style to own wedding… by wakeboarding along Menai Strait

Fancy making a grand entrance on your wedding day?

Matt Knight arrived in style by wakeboarding down the Menai Strait with his two best men Chris and Paul in full tuxedos!

The groom decided on an alternative mode of transport for his big day at Chateau Rhianfa on Anglesey .

Pensans Photography took the photos for Kirsty and Matt’s wedding on Saturday, April 22.

Julia Chapman, who photographed the wedding, said: “My business partner Robert Redpath took the photos of the wakeboarding.”

“They booked us for the wedding and said they liked to stay in Red Wharf Bay. We all joked about the groom doing a Daniel Craig and arriving in the water. Between the four of us we talked about the idea.”

“Matt had a wetsuit on and tux over the top and somersaulted outside Chateau Rhianfa. They didn’t actually go into the ceremony dripping wet.”

The groom and best men had a change of tux inside the venue to get changed into.

“I was with the bride who was already there and was watching them out the window.”

“It was probably the most exciting wedding we’ve done and such a gorgeous day. It was so memorable.”
