Watch moment police arrest protester at Theresa May's North Wales visit

A protester was arrested at Theresa May’s launch of the Welsh manifesto in Gresford , Wrexham this morning.

The man blew a bugle and shouted anti-fox hunting slogans before being led away by police officers.

As he was being forcibly removed by police he shouted “I have done nothing wrong!”.

He also shouted: “This is what you get for opposing austerity.”

It took more than four officers to bundle the man into the back of a waiting police van.

He has been arrested on suspicion of “breaching the peace”.

He has been taken to Wrexham police station.

The Prime Minister is at Wrexham to launch the Welsh Conservative manifesto.

Ms May has indicated she could allow a free vote for a return of fox hunting.
