Police probe shooting in Wrexham

A door was shot at in Wrexham last night.

North Wales Police are investigating after the front door of a property was shot on Field View.

At 10.31pm yesterday officers responded to a report of gunfire in the area.

Detective Inspector Jackie Downes said: “Thankfully nobody has been injured however the occupants of the property have been left shaken by this incident.

“We have launched an investigation and Police Officers remain in the area.

“We are appealing for anybody who may have witnessed suspicious behaviour in or around Field View, or to anybody who may have witnessed the incident to contact us.”

Police Officers remain on patrol in the vicinity and anybody with information that could assist the investigation is asked to contact North Wales Police on 101 quoting reference number V073910.
