About us

Teen FM was founded by Dan Porter in 2007. We went from strength to strength hitting a huge amount of people on a daily basis. Having had alot of different designs and looks when we got to version 7 of the website George Towner was brought onto the presenting team. Due to the sheer size of the website the costs of running it grew, month by month and eventually, running out of funds and forcing us to close Feburary 2009.

March 2009 George contacted Dan and asked him how possible it was to re-launch TeenFM. Spending the rest of 2009 working hard together, thinking of a brand new station image and look. George and Dan then decided to re-apply for the various licences needed to get back onair. Now we are one of the few internet radio stations which are fully licensed and provide around the clock entertainment and a dedicated team of staff.
